Heidi Snow’s fiancé Michel Briestroff died in the 1996 airplane crash of TWA flight 800. Shortly after Michel’s death, Heidi founded the non-profit organization Aircraft Casualty Emotional Support Services (ACCESS) dedicated to partnering volunteer Grief Mentors with those who survived or lost loved ones in air disasters.
