New York, New York and San Francisco, California ( PressReleasePoint ) June 5rd 2009 -Alice Wisler, author of Rain Song will join Drs. Gloria & Heidi Horsley to talk about The Power of Grief on their nationally syndicated talk radio program “Healing the Grieving Heart” May 28th, 2009 at 9 AM PST/12 Noon EST.

After the cancer death of her four-year-old son, Daniel, Alice Wisler founded Daniel’s House Publications and independently published two cookbooks in memory of children. Alice wanted her books to provide opportunities for bereaved parents to share with their children. Her recent novel, Rain Song (Bethany House), has sold over 25,500 copies.

Alice has used her own personal struggle with loss to positively impact thousands of people who have been through similar experiences. Despite the great adversity Alice endured in her life, she has gone onto find hope, wonder, and joy once again said Dr. Heidi Horsley, Executive Director of the Open to Hope Foundation, www.opentohope.com and Co-Host of Healing the Grieving Heart.

“We’re looking forward to bringing Alice’s story and mission of hope and healing to our audience,” this will be an inspirational show and one not to be missed, commented Dr. Gloria Horsley, Host of ‘Healing the Grieving Heart” and Founder and President of The Open to Hope Foundation, sponsor of “Healing the Grieving Heart” and The Grief Blog.

Healing the Grieving Heart broadcasts every Thursday from 9 AM to 10 AM Pacific Standard Time on The VoiceAmerica Health & Wellness Network.
