Plenty of new appliances are available for consumers to purchase. According to New York Times 20.96 million new appliances were shipped to retailers in the United States in the first quarter of 2009. Current economic conditions encourage consumers to spend as little as possible. Financially consumers are better off fixing the appliance they already own vs. buying a new one and paying for installation.

Manufacturers of appliances outsource warranty service to a different company, which subcontracts the actual work to a local appliance repairservice firm. So after contacting the manufacturer, consumers end up speaking with a company like Active Appliances Inc. to schedule a service call. ActiveAppliances.com eliminates the hustle of calling the manufacturer, then calling the warranty company and then calling the local service provider to schedule a repairman visit to their home.

Time saved on staying on hold to speak with a representative of the manufacturer, warranty company customer service decreases the anxiety of having to explain the problem to multiple people. http://www.ActiveAppliances.com is a breath of fresh air in the world of frustration and confusion that is the status quo of the appliance repair industry.

Active Appliances Inc. has provided appliance repair services since 1988.
