New Web Site Streamlines Online Ordering From The Flower & Gift Shoppe

Wilmington, DE ( Blogger ) June 19, 2009 – PC Flowers, a local florist in Wilmington, DE is pleased to announce its newly redesigned Web site. The new Web site is located at http://www.pcflowers.net, and features a newly redesigned user interface, beautiful full-color photos of floral arrangements, and easy navigation to help Web site visitors find floral arrangements by occasion, price or color.

"I'm very excited about the possibilities that our new Web site design opens up," said Eve Chang, owner of PC Flowers. "Our family has operated this store in Wilmington since 1983, and our new Web site design reflects our commitment to Wilmington, and to our customers. The new Web site allows us to provide service that's friendly, fast and cost-effective

Chang says that one of the prime motivators for redesigning the Web site was to allow PC Flowers customers to save money by ordering flowers from its Web site. "When you place an online order with a national florist, you'll pay a "service fee" of close to $15, sometimes more. When you order from the PC Flowers Web site, there are no extra surcharges," says Chang. "Even delivery is included in the Web site price."

Chang wants her Web site visitors to know that they're really making direct contact with PC Flowers. "Most online florist sites are just order-taking fronts. Some even try to pass themselves off as local florists. With pcflowers.net, our customers deal directly us," says Chang. The PC Flowers Web site is available 24 hours a day.

About
PC Flowers has served the floral needs of the Wilmington, DE area since 1983. More Filipino Shoppers Leave Gift Giving to the Experts

MANILA, PHILIPPINES ( PressReleaseCollection ) January 7, 2008 – Christmas shopping can be stressful if you don’t know how to manage your time and money. Traditionally, Filipinos spend hours upon hours shopping for the perfect gifts for family and friends. Recently, Filipinos have turned to the Internet to shop for gifts. It makes a lot of sense because you can save a lot of time, energy, and money if you know where to find the right gifts on the Internet.

One of the nice things about shopping online is that you can go straight to the supplier and great value. Recently, we visited www.islandrose.net, one of the oldest and most reputable Internet shopping sites to see what they have to offer this Christmas. We chose Island Rose because they are one of the few websites that produce their own products and not merely outsource the supply.

It was surprising to know that that they electronically receive hundreds of orders on regular days and several thousands of orders on gift giving occasions. This prompted us to believe that more shoppers are now turning to companies such as this to take care of their shopping needs. We took a look at their products to see what the fuss is all about.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a selection gifts to compliment their extensive line of flowers. A favorite is the Messenger Bear - a Teddy Bear that sends your personal messages through hand-embroidered shirts. They also have a variety of gift crates with everything from fresh fruits to bath sets. Once the gift is consumed, you can use the decorative crates for storing items around the house. In addition, they have a delightful collection of chocolates, scents, journals and jewelry boxes.

Gearing up for Christmas, they are also offering their entire flower range with Christmas trimmings. Since the flowers come straight from the Island Rose farm, clients are assured of fresh flowers at fair prices.

Browsing through an Internet site like this, it is plain to see why the Internet has become so popular among consumers. It is convenient to look through web pages and is saves far more time and money than going down to the shopping mall, picking out each gift, and delivering them personally.

More often than not, you cannot avoid but expressing your feelings to friends and loved ones. With time and money being a valuable commodity this Christmas, it pays to shop around for value and convenience. If the Internet can offer both, then it should be the first place to visit when doing your Christmas shopping.

Island Rose offers a wide selection of flowers and gifts to fit any occasion. Island Rose wins an Agora Award

MANILA, PHILIPPINES ( PressReleaseCollection ) December 15, 2008 – If you thought that e-commerce has not caught on in the Philippines, think again. Island Rose, one of the country’s top Internet retailers bagged an Agora Award last November 24, 2008. The ceremonies were held at the Hotel Intercontinental where the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) gave out prestigious Agora Awards to the most exceptional achievers in the Philippine Marketing scene.

The Agora Award is given to outstanding individuals and companies who pass a stringent judging process through a panel composed of top-level executives of leading Philippine corporations and institutions.

Awarded that night was Dustin Andaya founder and Marketing Director of www.islandrose.net. He was recognized for his outstanding performance in entrepreneurship – a testament that e-commerce retailing can be successful in mainstream Philippine business.

Dustin is credited as the entrepreneur who turned his father’s flower farm into a high tech distributor of flowers. He did this by convincing the country’s major couriers that the Internet is a viable medium to expand their parcel delivery services. Through www.islandrose.net, clients can send flowers fresh from the farm to any destination in the Philippines. His concept of using the Internet to provide a nationwide flower delivery system became a hit among Internet users in the Philippines as well as overseas Filipinos.

In addition to this, Island Rose also offers flowers on a wholesale or turnkey basis. This gave many online and offline retailers the ability to sell flowers without carrying expensive and highly perishable inventory often associated with having a floral business.

By combining convenience, affordability, and exemplary customer service, Island Rose catapulted its parent company, Philippine Cut Flower Corporation, from a simple farm operation to one of the Top 7,000 Corporations in the country. His business model is now a standard used by many e-commerce retailers in the country.

According to Dustin, the business model that they created can be applied across other industries and can be a good vehicle for nationwide growth and prosperity. “You just have to be creative and dedicated.” he added.

About Island Rose

Island Rose offers a wide selection of flowers and gifts to fit any occasion.
