London, UK ( Pressreleasecollection ) February 10, 2010 - Website Builder WebEden revealed a new feature this week that is set to break down the barriers between different fields of web design. Thanks to their new ‘HTML widget’, WebEden website builders can insert HTML snippets into their Flash based websites.

Previously, web designers were forced to choose between functional website building of HTML, and the aesthetic design strengths offered by Flash. Now that distinction no long has to be made.

WebEden MD Ken Builder said: “Many people can’t believe that we’ve made it possible to use HTML on flash websites. Now our website builders can use the HTML widget to add a whole host of HTML website functionality that was previously impossible. Users can now integrate HTML banners, Google gadgets, RSS feeds, Amazon links, friends list from Facebook and Twitter feeds into their Flash based websites. The only limit now is the imagination.

He went on to say: “The best thing about our HTML widget is that its really easy to use. Customers can simply insert it from our file manager, and then paste any HTML they find straight into the widget.”

Now web designers who know how to make a website in flash can also borrow all of the functionality of HTML.
